Thank you to all who registered for the 2015 Sisterhood Dinner. We are excited about the plans for the evening, including the dinner menu, which offers an option for vegans and a gluten-free dessert. To check it out, see the 2015 Menu. To look up your unit’s table assignment, check by your table sponsor’s name. The assignments are here for departments (Tables by Sponsors) and here for individual registrations (Individual Table Assignments); if you have any questions, please contact Dr. Deb Luckadoo (firstname.lastname@example.org or 3-3245).
Congratulations to the 2015 Equity for Women Award Nominees. And thank you to those who took the time to nominate them. The award recipients will be announced during the Sisterhood Dinner.
The Sisterhood Dinner celebrates the contributions and accomplishments of NC State women. It was originally called the Susan B. Anthony Dinner but was changed in 1999 to the Sisterhood Dinner to encompass all aspects of the achievements of women.
We are so pleased to have Dr. Ruth Dial Woods as our Sisterhood Dinner keynote speaker this year. She has an amazing story that truly reflects our theme of Spread Your Wings: Spirit, Vision, Strength. To find out more about Dr. Woods, please read the following story filed by Council on the Status of Women member Caren Ostrow, who interviewed Dr. Woods a few weeks ago.
