NC State's Gay, Lesbiam, Bisexual, and Transgender (GLBT) Center launched a survey that will close on February 15, 2013.
The Center seeks as much participation as possible to better assess the current perception of the climate by those in NC State's GLBT community. The data is critical to shape, educate, and define the efforts of the GLBT Center, the Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity, and NC State as a whole in regard to GLBT initiatives and practices in the coming years.
Participant recruitment efforts include flyers and social media (e.g., twitter, Constant Contact, facebook, HootSuite and OIED mailing lists). However, the survey is open access (meaning participants don't need to login with their unity IDs) and is hosted by Qualtrics.
Survey participants must be:
- 18 years of age
- A member of the GLBT Community
- Affiliated with the University as faculty, staff, student, or alumni (if alumni, only if they graduated during or after the fall semester of 2011)
Participation is voluntary and the survey responses are anonymous. Access the survey at: go.ncsu.edu/glbtclimatesurvey.
Questions about survey procedures can be directed to Dr. Bekah Jaeger, Justine Hollingshead, or Leslie Ware. Please see the flyer for more information.
