Staff Network for Women Organizational Meeting
An organizational meeting for women interested in forming a staff network for women will take place on Wednesday, October 30 , 12:00 - 1:00PM in the Washington Sankofa room of the African American Cultural Center. At the meeting, participants will discuss in small groups the needs to be met by such a network, which might include mentoring, professional development, support, an appropriate name for the network, possible organizational structure, and other topics. Contact Dr. Deb Luckadoo, Director of Staff Diversity, with any questions.
GLBT Center Gears Up for 5th Annual Cabaret Show
Each fall the GLBT Center hosts the annual NC State Cabaret. The show promotes campus diversity through the vehicle of entertainment from various student organizations around campus. Attend the show on November 15, 2013 at 7:00PM in Witherspoon Cinema to see and hear a variety of vibrant  performances that will include live singing, assorted talent, and glamorous drag. Tickets are free, but please reserve your seat.

2013 Human Rights Day Observance: Spotlight on Staff
The annual NC State Human Rights Day Observance for 2013 will be held on Monday, December 2 at 9:00AM in Room 356 of the African American Cultural Center. At this year's program, Chancellor Randy Woodson will carry out the traditional declaration signing and will also recognize staff who volunteer in service that supports human rights. To help us identify staff to be spotlighted at this year's event, please complete this brief form. Faculty, staff, and administrators are asked to encourage their staff colleagues who participate in service to submit their information. The deadline for submissions is November 15, 2013.
