Sexual Assault Awareness Month Preview of Events

Women's Center Programs Open to Campus Community
The NC State Women's Center will hold numerous events throughout the month of April to raise awareness among students and provide knowledge and tools to help combat the problem of sexual assault in our society.

Take Back the Night March & Rally
This 28th annual event is part of the national movement to free college campuses from sexual violence, April 9, 7:00 p.m., Stafford Lawn

Survivor Support Space
Training program open to NC State community designed to prepare individuals to respond to needs of interpersonal violence survivors, April 13, 5:00-8:00 p.m., Witherspoon 356 or April 21, 5:00-8:00 p.m., Harrelson 307.

It Happened Here
Movie and discussion about documentary that explores sexual assault on college campuses, April 16, 6:00 p.m., Park Shops 210

Interpersonal Violence Workshops
Sexual Violence 101 (April 8), Bystander Behavior (April 14), and Healthy Relationships 101 (April 20) workshops will be held for all interested from 6:00-8:00 p.m. in Winston 12.

Community Collection Site for Prom Apparel in Harrelson Hall
The NC State Women's Center is hosting a community collection site for gently used prom/formal dresses, jewelry and purses for students at Cary High School. We hope you will join us! If you have any of these items and are willing to donate, please bring them to Harrelson Hall, Room 324 between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., or feel free to contact Jennifer Castillo for more information. Collection is through March 31, 2015
