GLBT Center Seeks Student Feedback in Annual Survey

The 2015-2016 GLBT Center Student Survey is now live! Each year, the center invites students to give feedback to help assess how well the center is meeting its goals. You'll be asked to share demographic info (to know the range of identities of the students served), indicate how many workshops and events you've attended, share which student organizations you've participated in and note which resources and services you've used. The survery will also include questions to assess what the campus climate is like for you. The center welcomes suggestions for improvements. The entire survey should take about 15 minutes.

Office of International Services Offers Culture Corps

The Office of International Services has recently received a lot of requests for international volunteers to share their countries with local school children at various events in the Raleigh area. These events are a unique way to learn more about the American school system, interact with Americans in the Raleigh community and teach others about the place you call home!

Each country is represented by volunteers stationed at country-specific tables located around the school and the children rotate in small groups from table to table to learn about the world. Pictures and cultural artifacts are wonderful things to bring with you. OIS can help with printing and has some cultural items for use at school events. Transportation is always provided by OIS and each event is open to volunteers from all countries unless otherwise noted.
