Proposals from across NC State were submitted last year for the 2013-14 University Diversity Mini-Grant program sponsored by the Office for Institutional Equity and Diversity. Thirteen projects representing an array of opportunities, including research; undergraduate and graduate student recruitment and retention; middle and high school outreach to feed the pipeline of underrepresented students in higher education; faculty recruitment, retention and engagement; student engagement; and cultural competency development were funded. A total of $31,908 in funding was distributed for these worthwhile initiatives. A complete list of awardees and their projects is posted on the
Diversity and Inclusion website.
