The Tunnel of Oppression, an interactive experience that examines contemporary issues of race, class, domestic violence, religion, body image, gender identification and discriminatory forms and processes, returns to Talley next week with an all-new set of interactive exhibits and vignettes. Participants are again guided through a series of scenes that aim to educate and challenge you to think more deeply about these issues. At the end of the tour, there is a brief facilitated discussion, which allows the opportunity to process the experience. The entire experience lasts approximately 60 minutes per group and is an opportunity for students to think critically about issues that impact the NC State community. Experience the tunnel February 4-5, 2015, 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Talley Student Union, State Ballroom. Find out more at go.ncsu.edu/TOO2015. Tweet with #TOO2015. See the flyer.
