Gender Equity at NC State

Activities relating to gender equity have been assigned to the Vice Provost for Equal Opportunity and Equity. The following efforts are being addressed under this leadership venue:

  • continuing involvement with the University affirmative action program and sexual harassment education and prevention program;
  • developing programs and policies in response to campus climate issues;
  • reviewing strategies for recruitment, retention and advancement of women faculty and administrators;
