Our Purpose

The Department of Multicultural Student Affairs (MSA) researches, designs and implements unique programs that promote the pursuit of academic success, retention and graduation of students, with an emphasis on African American, Native American and Hispanic/Latino students. Many of the programs and services expand students’ cultural horizons while honoring their respective cultural experiences.

Our Students

Target populations for Multicultural Student Affairs are determined by differences in retention and graduation rates for historically underrepresented groups as well as anticipated demographic shifts regionally and nationally.

Around Campus

Multicultural Student Affairs works to bring academic enhancement opportunities, cultural awareness activities and student leadership development to students on campus.  Our many activities are open to all students on campus.
