Interpersonal Violence Advocacy Services
Women’s Center staff advocates provide confidential support to survivors of sexual and relationship violence including stalking. The NC State Women’s Center serves ALL NC State students and we welcome students of all genders, gender expression, and sexual orientation. Services include crisis counseling, academic/housing advocacy, accompaniment to court, student conduct hearings, and law enforcement agencies, and referrals to other services on campus or in the community.
Students can access services by coming to the Women’s Center 9am-5pm Monday through Friday or by calling the 24-hour Relationship & Sexual Violence Phone (RSVP) Line: 919-618-RAPE (7273).
Advocates are available to provide confidential crisis intervention, emotional support and referrals to students affected by sexual assault, dating/domestic violence and stalking. We provide information about academic, legal, medical, emotional, and student conduct resources. We also offer support to secondary survivors, such as intimate partners, friends, family, and you.
All information shared with advocates is confidential unless the person is a danger to themselves or someone else.
