As part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month, the GLBT Center will host an “Interpersonal and Sexual Violence in the GLBT Community” workshop on Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. in Talley Student Union, Room 3221. This two-hour workshop is open to NC State undergraduates, graduate students, staff, faculty and alumni as well as interested members of the local community. The workshop will help participants understand the ways that interpersonal and sexual violence is experienced by members of the GLBT community, reasons why GLBT people are less likely to report, and ways to support GLBT survivors.
