The Office for Faculty Development offers Strategies for a Gender Inclusive Classroom on Friday, October 27, 10:00-11:15 a.m. in 405 Clark Hall. Panelists will discuss strategies for establishing trust and mutual respect in the classroom, including how to make space especially for women students and gender non-conforming students, how to handle conflict and how to confront misogyny and other negative behaviors when they occur. Panelists will include faculty from the Women’s and Gender Studies program and the Women’s Center. Fulfills Certificate of Reflective Teaching Requirement: Student-Centered Learning Environment.
