Join the Women’s Center and the GLBT Center on Thursday, January 25, 2018 at noon in the Women’s Center as we facilitate a brief discussion on Judith Butler’s theory of gender performativity. We will read a very brief excerpt from Butler’s Gender Trouble. This event is designed to question our thinking, cultivate community and provide an opportunity to engage with challenging literature. We will explore the theoretical domains of gender performativity and have fun while doing so.
