Chauncey Bowden joined the Multicultural Student Affairs team in December of 2017 as the new program assistant. Bowden has spent the last two years working in non-profits; before coming to NC State, she worked at the Emily Krzyzewski Center as a program assistant. While at the Center, Chauncey worked in the Pioneer Scholars program with children in the first through eighth grades. Prior to that, Bowden worked as a communications and development intern for Habitat for Humanity of Wake County.

Bowden says that she is excited about working with students and building friendships and partnerships across campus and that she is passionate about serving and creating safe spaces for students.

Bowden is a graduate of NC State, holding a B.A. in philosophy of law with a minor in Africana Studies. Originally from Elizabeth City, North Carolina, she has been in the area for nearly six years. She enjoys food truck rodeos, going on adventures with her dog and reading.
