Following the screening, Dr. Jason Miller, associate professor of English at NC State, will discuss his groundbreaking discovery of a recording of Dr. King’s Rocky Mount speech, a precursor to King's famous “I have a dream” speech delivered in Washington, D.C. The discovery made international news when Miller unveiled the recording in August 2015 at the Hunt Library.
