Shoeboxes of Love

The African American Cultural Center is once again collecting donations of shoeboxes from the NC State community and beyond. Titled “Shoeboxes of Love,” the campaign began on November 1 and will continue through December 11, 2012.

Shoeboxes of Love

Anyone can purchase a new plastic shoebox and fill it with the requisite items: a scarf, hat, chapstick, hand sanitizer, toothbrush, and toothpaste, and some of the additional recommended new items, to help people of all ages who may be in need during the winter season. Although it may be far from the minds of many, the difficulties faced by some in our community can make life difficult. Please help. You will be glad you did. For more information, see the flyer.
