It's Almost Here: The Annual Tunnel of Oppression Event!

The Tunnel of Oppression is an interactive experience that examines contemporary issues of race, class, domestic violence, religion, body image, gender identification, and discriminatory forms and processes. Participants are guided through a series of scenes that aim to educate and challenge them to think more deeply about these issues. At the end of the tour, there is a brief facilitated discussion which allows the opportunity to process the experience. The entire experience lasts approximately 30 minutes per group and is a great opportunity for students to think critically about issues that impact NC State’s campus on a daily basis.

Participants are welcome from 11:00AM-2:00PM or 4:00PM-7:00PM on both Wednesday, March 26, 2014 and Thursday, March 27, 2014. The Tunnel will be held in the Talley State Ballroom.
