Inaugural Run for Razan to Be Held at Stafford Commons on April 8

The Inaugural Run for Razan, happening April 8, 2017, is an event inspired by Razan Abu-Salha, one of three students killed in the 2015 Chapel Hill shooting that took the lives of Razan, her sister Yusor and brother-in-law Deah. Razan, an avid runner, was training for the Rock ‘n’ Roll Half-Marathon in Raleigh before her death. Her closest friend and fellow student Yasmine Inaya ran the race in Razan’s shoes, and has since been inspired to create a race in her honor. In partnership with NC State campus partners, we hope this event will inspire others to walk in Razan’s footsteps and live a fulfilling and healthy life.
