Unapologetic: A Black Herstory Bookclub @ Women's Center Lounge

Join the Women’s Center for our Black Herstory Book Club where we will read, Unapologetic: A Black, Queer, and Feminist Mandate for Radical Movements by Charlene Carruthers. The purpose of the book club is to introduce students, faculty, and staff to Charlene’s work and to create a space to talk about gender, sexuality/queerness, and race in social justice work. Each meeting will be one hour long in the WC lounge on Tuesday afternoons between 3:00pm-4:00pm. We will talk about our thoughts on the book and facilitation will include tying the book into our own personal experiences and to current and historical events. (we have our intern working on a graphic). Register Here: go.ncsu.edu/blackherstory
