Deep South: Film Screening and Discussion @ GLBT Center ( Talley 5210

Join the GLBT Center as we screen the documentary Deep South, in honor of National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day. The film chronicles the experiences of people navigating systemic barriers while living with and HIV/AIDS. Following the film, engage in a conversation facilitated by the North Carolina AIDS Action Network to unpack the ways in which communities of color are disproportionally impacted.

His only wealth lies in the strength of his arms, the bushland around him and his strong will. As he sets out on dangerous and exhausting adventures to trade the fruit of his work, he discovers the value of his effort and the price he must pay for his dreams.
