Resources for Reporting Concerns

Our goal at NC State is to continually work to ensure a safe and responsive environment for faculty, staff, students and visitors. NC State provides several ways for the campus community to report concerns.

According to NC State’s Equal Opportunity, Non-Discrimination and Affirmative Action Policy (POL 04.25.05), the State of North Carolina has a responsibility “to provide equality of opportunity in education and employment for all students and employees.” In doing so, we must prohibit any action that unjustly discriminates, harasses, intimidates, threatens, retaliates against or creates an abusive or hostile educational or working environment for any student, faculty or staff member of NC State University. When these incidents occur, it is our obligation to investigate and remedy the situation including holding violators accountable.

If you are the victim of such negative behavior or witness it happen to others, we encourage you to report the incident immediately. There are several ways you can do that.

More information for all of these resources is listed below.

It is important to note that not all resources are confidential unless stated.
