The Critical Issues in Social Justice Discourse @ Women's Center
Jul 18 @ 5:00 pm – 6:30 pm

Are you interested in learning more about gender and equity and how it relates to social justice? Then this workshop is for you!

This workshop serves as an introduction to the NC State Women’s Center and how we engage students in looking critically and intersectionally at issues of social justice. Participants will 1) develop an understanding of intersectionality, 2) be introduced to critical and feminist theories, and 3) be able to describe the ways they can contribute to a culture of active inclusion at NC State. This workshop will be modeled after our signature and popular Feminist Friday series (a Brick tradition) and will showcase how students are learning about and engaging with current social issues.
