Trabazz Bruce, a graduating senior in Design Studies and intern in the Office Institutional Equity and Diversity (OIED), visually shares his experience traveling on an alternative service break trip earlier this year with the following short video. During his internship in OIED, Trabazz completed numerous design projects, including taking hundreds of photographs at OIED programs and events and producing numerous short videos.

Trabazz writes, “The ASB Atlanta trip is a fall break trip that gives students the opportunity to be informed on topics dealing with civil rights in America. We visited two civil rights museums, the first in Greensboro and the second in Atlanta. On the trip, we were able to help out at the Salvation Army, Boys and Girls Club and Girls Inc., a non-profit organization that helps to empower young women. The last part of the trip was the Festival of lights, an event that happens every year to celebrate things that bring light to a community in south Atlanta. This video captures moments of the trip as well as the student experience of ASB Atlanta.”
