NC State appears prominently in the February 23, 2017 issue of Diverse Issues in Higher Education with two national rankings. In its “Top Producers of African-American Graduates,” the publication lists the top 100 producers of undergraduate and graduate degrees awarded to African-American students in business, education, engineering and social sciences.read more
NC State aims to provide impactful experiences. Feedback from prior years has indicated that the annual Tunnel of Oppression rates as one of the most impactful experiences offered on campus. And it lasts just thirty minutes.read more

Rachel Banawa is a graduating senior majoring in psychology from Old Bridge, New Jersey. She is president of Asian Students in Alliance (ASIA), a sister of Kappa Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc., and a mental health ambassador in the Counseling Center. She also dances with Fusion Dance Crew.
